Exciting May Updates for Gym Owners and Admins
We hope you and your gym members are thriving! As many of you know, we’re working on a major billing and app update that will soon be rolled out in its “beta” stage. While we continue to make progress on these projects, we’re excited to announce some new features that are ready for you to explore right now.

1. App Updates
🏋️ Coach
Keep track of your sessions with ease! If you are coaching, the “Book” button will now say “Coach,” and the session will automatically move into your bookings.
👩🏫 Attendance Count
By popular demand, the attendance count can now be seen by all members, not just coaches, unless you have “session privacy” enabled.
📍 Location
The word “location” has been removed from the calendar list so it can be used for multiple purposes, such as “Extra Programming.”
📗 Book
The “Book” and “Log Score” options are now available up to 72 hours after the session instead of the previous 24-hour limit.
2. Workout Publishing
🏋️ Coach
Workout publishing rules will no longer apply to admin/coaches! This means it will be much easier for your coaches to prepare for sessions ahead of time, regardless of your publishing rules (especially if you use “Coach Notes”). There’s an “apply to staff” option if you would like to turn it on.
⏰ Timing
Just a reminder, you have three options for when you allow bookings to classes and when you publish the workout:
- Session Day
- Day of the week (e.g., ‘Sunday 5pm’ opens the week ahead all at once on Sunday at 5pm). This option had a reported bug that has now been rectified.
- (x) days before the session.
3. Messaging Improvements
We’ve made several new messaging updates for you and your members.
🚫 Disable Replies
Admins now have the ability to send an announcement message that does not allow replies.
🦖 Avatars
The original and latest person to write in a group are highlighted by multiple avatars. Additionally, the sender’s name will reflect the latest message.
✅ Select Across Staff/Members
We’ve made it easier to select all or choose specific members and staff for a group message.
